I am buying 80 gb ps3 with ufc undisputed and killzone 2 which puts it at 520.. want to keep it under 600 was thinking mic controller ????

Get the PSEye. You’ll need it for some games and for the motion controller coming up next year.
If you don’t feel like buying that, then get a 15$ USB keyboard. Cheap and nice.
ORRR, you could just get some more games. UNCHARTED or LITTLEBIGPLANET or something.

Hello. I am currently living in South Korea and am planning to live here until the end of 2009. I want to get a PS3 here, but I would want to change it to play North American games when I get back to Canada. I have been told that there is a chip or something that will do this. Any suggestions?

I’ve heard the same rumors. If I were you, I’d purchase the system and maybe an upgraded warranty for a year or so on it. If they are the same, you’re in luck. If not, it’d be best to call Sony and ask them what to do. Some answers you get off here might trash a 600 dollar gaming console

Im going to get a ps3 so what games should I get, This includes downloadable games.
And what other stuff should I get

It really depends on what you’re into. For Shooters the well known ones are Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty 4/5, Uncharted 2 (also has platforming and apparently an amazing game). If you’re into more role playing you could wait a while and get Final Fantasy 13 when it comes out, there’s always Valkyria Chronicles (although you’d have to look pretty hard to find it), and I heard that Tales of Vesperia is coming to the PS3 eventually. These two genres are really the only ones I play, so for any other genres you’d need to talk to someone else.

Accessories; my view: uneccessary. The only thing that I would say to get would be a mic if you plan on playing online, the rest is just anything you actually NEED to use, everything else is a waste IMO.
